Equipment

When we first move to Nicaragua I now know enough to rent a place first and set up residency before bringing in any of our goods. Now - what about bringing in my equipment? I have tractors, backhoes, farming equipment, water well drilling equipment, welding shop, etc. Should I sell in the states and buy new when in Nicaragua or can I bring it in without exorbinant customs fees, taxes?
Thanks,
Terry
