Children's activities? Other families with kids?

Hello everyone! I just found this forum and want to get involved as it looks to be quite active. My wife and I have toured around Central America for the last five years and really came to love Nicaragua! The last two years we have brought with us our three children aged 12, 9, and 6. We've stayed for about ten weeks with our base being Poneloya. We've had amazing times together adventuring around the country and enjoying the slow life. After our last trip we had a family meeting to see how everyone was feeling in regards to the future and at the request of the two oldest we are staying home this winter in Canada so that they can compete once again in dance. As we look forward to the future we would like to travel and live abroad with the family but have realized that friends and activities are very important. So right now I'm looking for any information in regards to areas where there are families with children and also any information on activities for the kids?? They are currently involved in ballet, tap, jazz, and hip hop as well as gymnastics. Also in the past they've been involved in soccer and taekwondo. However we are not stuck to these activities and would consider others.. As for schooling we are willing to homeschool but if there is a good kids school type program that runs a few days a week we'd look into that.

For any information we'd be truly grateful!

Thanks
