English Teacher Moving to Nica

Hi, I'm planning on making the move to Nica in August. I'm an English teacher through Skype. I hope someone can help with a few queries I have: Is the internet connection and speed reliable enough to be able to have a Skype conversation without interruption? How easy is the process to get residency as an English teacher? If residency isn't possible what options do I have in terms of renewing my visa every 90 days? Thanks
