Transportation from Liberia/Canton Nica

Hi,

I am excited for an upcoming trip to SJDS April 12, 2013, arriving around 2:30 pm at the Liberia/Canton Costa Rica air port.

Would anyone have any suggestions on a good/reliable company or other means of transportation from Liberia/Canton air port to SJDS?

I am also looking for a place to stay in SJDS and would like to know if anyone would recommend a place that is a few blocks walking distance to beach, restaurants etc., not too crazy loud. A one bedroom is all I need and while I have looked at some hotels, the reviews have not been great or differ very much. I am looking at hostels but uncertain if I would want to be in one for my three week visit. Any first hand recommendations would be great for both transportation and a place to stay. Thank you a ton!
