the big move

Hello
I'm new to this forum and am impressed with the amounts of information generously shared here. However I am quite lost in finding specific information that I need.
Well first of all we are trying to move to nicaragua (me, my husband and our dog) permanently late sprint or early fall of 2015. our plan is to rent for about a year and find a piece of property to purchase on the pacific side of the country. there are about a million questions we have about the move to nicaragua, but some of the first and main would be lawyer. can anyone recommend a good, reliable lawyer in nicaragua? the one who deals with international real estate purchase. we have been recommended to go through the embassy. we are making a move from usa and we are not retired or even close to that.
I would love to start a conversation with expats from usa that went through the whole process of immigrating to the country, bringing their pet over, property purchase, aquiring a residency status etc.
