Switching Panama for Nicaragua : Beach-front, and Internet reliability

Greetings.

First of, this is an excellent forum! Kudoz to those of you who post such helpful and insightful tips and advice.

I'm a Canadian, currently living in Panama. I moved here from Toronto last November.

I've liked Panama so far (as everywhere else, it has its ups and downs). But, lately, I've been seriously considering switching from Panama to Nicaragua.

So as to clarify my own situation fully, I guess I should provide more details on my background :

-- 41 years
-- work full-time as a software engineer (remotely)
-- own an online side-business, fully internet based.
-- now speak Spanish fluently.

I'm someone who's no stranger to world travel. Been traveling since the age of 17 (right after school). Visited 38 countries, and lived in 5 of them.

I know the difference between "visiting" a place, and actually "living" there; I know how to do my research before packing up and moving to a new place. I did this before I came to Panama; and, for the past month, I've been doing the same for Nicaragua.

I've read through most of the forum posts here, regarding : work, housing, amenities, visa, etc, etc, in Nicaragua.

I've joined online social media groups, and spoken to many expats currently living in Nicaragua, and even some who lived there for a while, and then left.

I've googled and shoogled every available online article on the country itself, and some of its towns.

My point is : I know what I need to know about the most important points.

My lack of knowledge, however, stems from two things : beach-life, and internet availability.

(a) By beach life, I mean : areas in Nicaragua which are on/near the sea/ocean. These are the only areas I am interested in. I know about the real-estate markets, and such. My inquiry is for those expats who live in such places --- whereabouts do you live? Why did you choose that particular beach/seaside town? Would you recommend it to someone who wants to move there?

(b) I own an online, internet-based business. Hence, I require a steady and reliable internet connection. I've researched Internet reliability in Nicaragua, sure. But, for those particular areas (mentioned above), is the internet good? okay-ish? bad? Which provider would you say is most reliable?

Thanks in advance.
