Advice on Moving to Granada

Hello!

As I approach my 30th birthday, I've realized that I need to make serious adjustments in my life. I currently live and work for the Federal Government in Washington, DC and I'm looking to move to Nicaragua where life is (hopefully) slower paced, less expensive, more culturally enticing, and a stronger sense of community. I begin Spanish lessons next week and hope to move early next year. My #1 concern, however, is finding a decent-paying job. I don't expect to earn the equivalent to my DC salary, but I'd like to be comfortable. I have a Master of Arts degree and have been working in the museum field for the last seven years. I am an excellent planner and very organized. I've volunteered with children in Guatemala City and have nannied for a decade + so I am open to teaching, child care, etc. I am also willing to completely change career paths-administration, tourism, etc. Are there many job openings for someone like me in Granada or elsewhere in Nica? If so, where do you recommend I search (online)? I am also not opposed to job hunting once I'm in country but I'd like to at least know that there are opportunities for work. Thank you in advance!
