Retiring to Managua, need help!

Hey Everyone,

Like many of you here, I've decided to retire to Nicaragua, and live out the rest of my days, (and SSI) on a nice, quiet farmhouse in the countryside.

I have a bunch of questions, of course, and i was hoping I could have a back-and-forth with someone to get a few of them answered.

I'm headed there next month. I was hoping to find a nice (cheap) place to rent for the year. Somewhere in or around Managua. Is it possible to get that set up before I get there?
