Transfering Money?

I am purchasing a home in Nicaragua. I Will be using Banco De America Centro. They sent me a paper that has a Intermediary Bank in New York (Bank of America) which they have as suggested. and a Beneficiary Bank there in Managua. Can I send the funds directly to the Beneficiary Bank or do I have to go through the Intermediary Bank
