Crossing at "punto ciego"

Hello Expatas,
Looking for opinions or facts about consequences for entering Nicaragua illegally. We tried to enter legally at Honduras border. Our covid test was rejected because it did not have a stamp with doctor signature. After more than 24 hours of trying to convince the border doctor to accept it we tried to return to Honduras and were not allowed back in! We were stuck between two countries, so decided to crois the river with a coyote. Were here now and want to fix our illegal status to legal do that we can travel in the future. Any thiughts or comments?
