I raised a blind 8-year old from the Atlantic coast here in California, continuing the annual Christmas but trips until the war ended. I moved to Tasbapouni to build an orphanage but got robbed of most of the building funds. I had an unwanted 8 year old who loved me and there were others in need so I bought an acre with a barn that became our home. A year later when I had 5 boys all happy and in school, drug dealers forced me to flee for my life, expecting me to leave all of my solar, orphanage stuff, electric vehicle, boats, machine shop behind for them. A church pastor and his congregation called for secret boats to come at 3AM and carry all they could to the boats. When the village began to awaken and see what was happening they blocked the path and started fights with my helpers and I had to leave a lot of stuff behind. The mother of a gimp, retarded boy told me I can't leave him behind, he loves me and believes you are his papa...it will break his heart. The other boys had relatives to go to but Agusto came with me to Granada where I rented a 2-story 8-bedroom 3-bath mansion on the lake for $200/month. We were happy and safe there and soon people had brought me several fatherless boys needing a home. I stayed 8 years. My mentally 5-year-old Agusto lived a happy year there, turned 17 and died in my arms from asthma/pneumonia. I'm not a Jesus freak but I supported Agusto's belief and when a spirit came to take him I told him (body already dead) that Jesus has come for him "go with Him now" they happily blasted through the wall into the night together leaving me feeling more alone than ever in my life. When my arthritis got so bad I couldn't walk and my money was gone I returned to California in 2001. My little black quadriplegic baby died from a reaction to a required measles vaccine, the blind boy went back to his mother and my other 'sons' are now grown up with children who call me abuelo (grandpa). One of my 4-year-olds was 12 when I left him with his mom. I bought him a house that was supposed to become legally his when he turned 18. He is 30 now with one daughter. His mother is mentally crazy and 'lost' the legal document to Memo's property. She controls her retarded son and daughter who cooperate with her attempt to get ownership of the house. She made up stories to have Memo jailed while she works on taking his property. As a disabled 80-year-old on a small pension I can't go down there to straighten it out. Some of my other boys I gave houses to are willing to help any way they can, but we need a lawyer who won't take advantage of having a gringo client, who will guide us through the steps to finally get the land title clearly mine or Memo's. Memo has allowed his crazy family to stay in his house for all of these years as I expected he would. I'm joining this forum hoping that someone can lead me to a lawyer willing to help us, not just themself.
