The good, the bad, and the ugly

Good:
--stunning Natural beauty
--unspoiled landscapes mostly free of rampant exploitation
-- friendly, helpful, generally happy folk
--low low prices for basic transportation
--(in Leon) traffic is much better than other CA countries
--pollution much less than other CA countries
--men and women in generally conservative clothing
--cost and quality of basic means and food

The bad:

--slavish dedication to paper forms, signatures, official stamps, approvals from other administrators, and general horseplay of a similar nature
--lack of ability to do almost everything online
--disorganized market system, finding items is crazy hard
--near total lack of official address system for buildings and houses, leading to truly crazy address notation system ("from where the gas station used to be, two blocks down")
--new online immigration form one of the most painful web forms I've ever encountered
--night time drunkenness and disorder in some areas

the ugly

The public hospital system.
