Hi everyone,
Sorry to barge in like this and maybe not a popular question, but I have been married a Nicaraguan wife for a few years and she lives with me in the USA. I've probably been overly soft with her and now she does not want to make any contribution anymore to our monthly expenses such as our expensive rent/utilities (she keeps her considerate income pretty much all for herself). She claims that in Nicaragua the husbands generally always pay for everything (it's cultural) and I was wondering if any native Nicaraguans could confirm this. Historically I did not care so much for the money, but for various reasons I have not been feeling safe in the relationship and then it starts to become an item. Moreover, she does not earn that much less than me, and I have to work hard as well.
Could someone please help me out with this?
