1st & 6th grade - schools question

Hi everyone! I'm considering the move to Barbados and am trying to figure out schooling for my boys.

Does anyone have any advice about primary and middle/secondary schools in Barbados? I've noticed that most expats, apparently, enroll their kids in the private schools; has anyone enrolled their kids in the public school system? if yes, how was that experience?

Vis-a-vis the private schools; are there any that are not super expensive but still good?

And finally - how do the kids get to school; are there school buses or is it up to the parents?
