My wife and I are business owners in the USVI, and looking for the next Caribbean adventure.
We have done considerable resource. We feel like the comments and feedback from this amazing expat community is our best bet to start narrowing down our quests location.
We have an extremely successful BBQ food truck. Our entire operation is completely mobile, and can be shipped to ANY island that will accept us in.
We plan on offering Caribbean BBQ and burgers, coupled with a fun bar that will be intended to service the local and expat community. We realize how important/significant tourism is- but we hope this new venture is filed by the locals.

BTW- I hope to find a professional contact in the business services field. Someone who can provide the necessary paperwork, file the paperwork, and assisting in the acquisition of proper permits and licensing. There seems to be these "brokers" in the Virgin Islands- and assume they flourish everywhere open commerce grows.
Also note: we are open to local partnership, and/or creative methods of securing a site for our truck and equipment. BBQ food truck coming to an island near you!
