import duty

We are in the last process of buying a house as our permanent home, however can anyone advise us as to what we can bring in as personal / household items????

It seems to be a bit of a minefield. We don`t want to pack a container and when it arrives, we have to pay a vast amount of import duty.

We have contacted the St Lucian Consulate in the UK and the Customs offices in St Lucia, but alas we have had NO replies!!!

We are non-nationals from the UK

Any information would be appreciated
