we are moving permanently to cairo , maadi in end of july 2011. my husband is egyptian and has been in south africa for the past 14 years. we currently have a successful flooring and interior decorating business and are in the process of selling it. my husband is the only child for his parents and has to go back to cairo. i love being in the business world and have spent most of my life in it. with the experience i have obtained i can run any business successfully. i am also a forensic and med law student, which i do through unisa. the thought of me not working again is killing me. and i very much doubt that it will be easy to open a new business in cairo knowing that my arabic is not good. to all the south africans out there can you help me get thru this unsure phase and do you think my move is wise. i would be much more at ease if i knew i was going to a job or business with people speaking english or understanding the fact that it is a new environment for me. ANY TIPS ON HOW TO GET TO A JOB IMMEDIATELY IN CAIRO WHEN WE REACH OR OTHER SUGGESTIONS. I DONT WANT TO GO INTO A DEPRESSION. I LOVE WORKING.
