Hi!
I'm from vienna, Austria and I'll move to Pune on October 1st 2008 and would have some basic questions. Even if I have been travelling already seven times to Pune there are many things which are unclear for me from an expats point of view:
- Appartment: I do have set my limit for an appartment to 45000 Rs/Month. Is this a reasonable price to get quite a good standard?
- Appartment: Currently I'm thinking about the areas "Bund Garden", South of "Kalyani Nagar" as I will work in this area. Any other areas you would recommend or lets say are there any specific areas for Expats in Pune?
- Would do I need to expect to spend monthly for food, clothings and entertainment from a point of view that I don't need anything special?
- My girlfriend will move with me. And as she is a social worker we are prett sure that she will not get a well paid job here in Pune. Does anyone of you has good contacts to NPO's or NGO's inside pune which are supplied by India or foreign countries?
Anyway, thank you very, very much for all your help and assistance!
And: See you in Pune!
