I am recently married to a Jamaican national (has dual Jamaican and American citizenship) and we plan to move to Jamaica in 2019. I am an American and I'm considering obtaining citizenship through marriage. I would like to work and would like to hear opinions on obtaining citizenship in this manner versus just obtaining a marriage exemption. We will reside in St. Ann.
