Living in Tangier

I am hoping to be able to secure a job near Tangier and will be moving there with my wife to live. We are both excited by the prospect of it but want to know what it is like to live in or around the city. What is there that my wife could do (volunteer work maybe) that will allow her to enjoy our time in Morocco and what is there for us both to do at weekends or in the evenings etc.
