Scouting Portugal as our retirement destination.

HI,

I have been reading many of the posts of this site and found them incredibly helpful. Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to share their valuable knowledge of the country.

My husband and I are planning a trip to Portugal to look for a place in Portugal that we would love to retire. We are thinking of Cascais or somewhere in the Algarve. We are on a modest budget. We will be arriving in Cascais on December 28th and are looking for a week's rental there. Does anyone know of a place? One bedroom apartment in a good and safe area s all we will
need. We want to first explore that area then take a train or rent a car and drive down to the Algarve.
Any information would be most helpful. Thank you.
