Chronic disease medication question

I need to learn more about the cost of medication, specifically biologic medication (Remicaid - or infliximab, specifically) in Portugal. I have Crohn's disease, and my plan is to enroll in one of MGEN's insurance plans that doesn't exclude pre-existing conditions. Does anyone have experience with medication expenses that go beyond plan limits? MGEN's most comprehensive plan, Total, covers up to $500 euros annually, and I'm pretty sure my costs will exceed that. I've reached out to the company, but I would love to know more from people living as ex-pats in Portugal. Thank you for your help!
