Hi,
So my husband is considering a job in Darfur, and will have access to flights in and out of Entebbe. We have an 11-yr-old daughter who has a wonderful school and life in the US. But we don't really want to be too far from her dad, so are considering moving to Kampala or even Entebbe for a year. We would like an adventure, as long as it's not too dangerous or, well, stuck somewhere with nothing to do while he's away during the week. He would fly home on weekends, or work some time at home with us. We are all travelers, so we love a good adventure.
So... Entebbe looks like there would not be enough going on. But Kampala looks fun - and safe. What is the best school? What are the best neighborhoods for a family? Is the traffic to Entebbe airport too awful to make such a situation workable?
What's it like to live in Kampala?
